Chelton Antennas is a French Company, located in Dourdan created by the merger, of three Companies : STAREC, RAYAN and CHELTON FRANCE.
Chelton Antennas designs and manufactures high technology antennas for communication, navigation and identification applications in the world of commercial and military aircraft, space launchers, missiles, satellites, infra-structure, tactical mobile ground installations and naval applications.
Even though Chelton Antennas has a large range of products, they continue to improve and develop new antennas at the leading edge of technological innovation. Numerous developments, of which many are patented, have made Chelton Antennas a world leader in antennas.
Chelton Antennas uses the most technically advanced research, design, manufacturing tools and test facilities, for example:
- computer simulation of radiation patterns and decoupling figures
- radiation measurement facilities from HF to 18 GHz
- class 100,000 clean room.
For commercial aerospace activities, Chelton Antennas has received the JAR 145 and JAR 21 certifications. The quality assurance organization is fully involved at all stages of the process and is able to satisfy their customers’ requirements, such as MIL standards, ISO 9001 or specific space ESA requirements.
